THERAPIST

I know that reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming. Whether you're struggling with the effects of trauma, navigating a difficult relationship, feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, or simply carrying more than you can manage on your own, you don't have to face it alone.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 13 years of experience, I have worked with children, families, and adults across a variety of settings, including 9 years focused on supporting survivors of domestic violence. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the resilience people carry, even during their most difficult moments.

I specialize in trauma, women's mental health, ADHD, interpersonal conflict, and recovery from domestic violence and intimate partner abuse. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and hold a certificate as an Adult ADHD Specialist. My approach is integrative and tailored to each client, drawing from evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), and Motivational Interviewing.

Above all, I believe therapy should be a place where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely understood. My style is warm, collaborative, curious, and nonjudgmental. I balance support with gentle challenge, helping clients build insight, strengthen coping skills, develop healthier boundaries, and move toward meaningful and lasting change.

Healing doesn't happen overnight, but you don't have to navigate it by yourself. I would be honored to walk alongside you on that journey.

I have been providing clinical supervision since 2017 and am passionate about supporting the growth and development of fellow clinicians. Throughout my career, I have supervised social work and professional counselor interns, provisionally licensed therapists, and independently licensed clinicians across a variety of mental health settings. My experience includes providing both individual and group supervision, supporting clinicians in developing strong clinical skills, case conceptualization, ethical decision-making, treatment planning, and professional confidence.

As a former Clinical Director of an Outpatient Mental Health Clinic (OMHC), I have extensive experience mentoring clinicians at different stages of their careers while overseeing clinical quality, staff development, and professional training. I am approved to provide supervision for social workers in both Maryland and Virginia, as well as professional counselors in Maryland. My supervision style is collaborative, supportive, and growth-oriented, balancing practical clinical guidance with long-term professional development to help supervisees build competence, confidence, and a strong professional identity.
